1. Mini Beauty Haul!

As we are well into winter we need to keep both hair and skin moisturised.

Coconut Oil £1.52- Is a must have it is great for the skin and amazing for hair whether using it as an over night mask or as a conditioner.

Also I invested in two tubs as I will be using it to make homemade lipbalms👄

Tresemme Split Remedy £2.79- We all know how terrible split ends feel and look, this treatment used on wet/damp hair also can be used on dry hair at the ends seal and lock split ends. I will do a full review after a weeks trial but after the first use the ends of my hair feel smooth and protected and has a healthy shine.

LOOK beauty, Prime Perfect Primer £5- This primer is lovely it glides onto the skin, it is a clear substance and as soon as you rub it in the skin it feels silky and smooth. I have used this primer without make up and it has kept my face moisturised throughout the day, full review to follow!

    All from Superdrug, great value

  2. Treatment Time!

Time to give your luscious locks a break and treat yourself to shinny, soft and healthy hair.

Making your own hair mask is not only simple and easy but also does not break the bank, with an added bonus of using natural ingredients.

Mix and mash 1-2 bananas (depending on length of hair)
    1-2 tablespoon of honey
1-2 tablespoon of coconut butter (melt so it liquifies into oil)

Make sure everything is mixed well and the bananas are mashed leaving no chunks, use food processor

    Apply all over hair

    Wrap hair in cling film

And leave minimum 30mins but recommended 1 1/2 hours

(I left it in for 3 hours)

And rinse out thoroughly followed by shampooing twice and then follow with conditioner And voila amazing shiny, soft and hydrated hair! 😄

  3. 3 for 2 picks at Superdrug!

Rush to Superdrug (for those of you in the UK) they have a 3 for 2 offer on all make up across all brands.

I picked up a contour kit by sleek that i’ve wanted to try for a while as well as a GOSH lipstick and a dream illuminate in SAND 03 by Maybeline.

    - Sleek contour palette in Medium £9.99

    - GOSH lipstick 134 Darling £6.49

    - Maybeline SAND 03 dream illuminate £6.99

The contour palette is great, definately something to experiment with. I bought it in Medium, the dark contour is very effective ad comes on quite dark brown. The highlight is very shimmery and has a nice glow to it. And the bronze which they refer to as blush is a nice light golden brown.
    - if you are an olive tone this palette is perfect!

The lipstick by GOSH was not my first choice, I initially wanted Temptress by Sleek but they’d run out :(
Now even though I like this colour it left my lips very dry at the end of the day.

And finally the Maybeline illuminate, it gives a great under eye glow and can be used like the Benefit moon beam.

  4. Richmond River Girl Date:

Friday was one of the first sunny days we’ve had in London for a while so we took advantage of it!
We took ourselves down to Richmond and enjoyed lunch at Giraffe followed by some cheeky drinks at Vodka Rev’s.
Check out a few of the snaps from the day including my OOTD (DIY midi skirt, linen top and peace waist belt) make up (natural, light contour with pink lips and mascara) and a group shot!

  7. WOW Wednesday!

This week’s WOW Wednesday is a fashion pick, these beautiful heeled sandals from Primark! Yes I said Primark. The Atmosphere range have produced these Zara Dupes for just £12! So I bought not one but two pairs. They come in black (faux suede/patent), monochrome (faux snake leather/suede) as well as red and pastel. They’re super comfortable (honestly) so get them quick because these bargains won’t hang around for very long!

  8. Sunset Strip

Using Front Cover makeup I used an orange(Carrot) over the eyelid, followed by a highlight (blanc de blanc) in the brow area. Followed a bright yellow (Buttercup) in the crease and Mac eyeshadow Rule over the eyelid. Dusting a gold biscuit in the corner of the eyes.

    • Front Cover Rainbow eyes Winter - eyeshadow
    • 17 Tattoo Me - eyeliner
    • Make Up Store - blush: Seashell
    • Love and Beauty by Forever21 Eyeshadow- Used on Lips
    • L’oreal Volume Million Lashes excess

  9. Sephora Palette

Although for green eyes the shades also make brown eyes pop, this palette has both smokey eye bold look and natural eye subdued look, and has basic instructions that anyone can follow to create the desired look.

    Look to follow : )
